WHERE
Use where to ask about a place.
- Where do you live?
- I live in California.
- Where is your school?
- It’s on Somerset Street.
WHEN
Use when to ask about a time.
- When does the class start?
- It starts at 9:00 am.
- When did you wake up?
- I woke up at 7:30 am.
WHY
Use why to ask about a reason.
- Why do you like reading so much?
- I like it because I can learn new things.
- Why did you call me?
- I called you to invite you to my party.
HOW
Use how to ask about a method/way.
- How do you turn on this computer?
- You have to hold down the power button.
- How did your presentation go?
- It went well.
WHICH
Use which to ask about a choice.
- Which do you prefer, chicken or steak?
- I prefer chicken.

Use whose to ask about possession.

Lo primero que debemos saber sobre este tipo de preguntas es que no pueden responderse con “sì” o con “no”. Estas preguntas son utilizadas para averiguar información específica.
¿Cuáles son las palabras clave y cómo se pronuncian?
Estas son las formas más importantes, repítelas
- When? /wen/
- What? /wɒt/
- Who? /huː/
- Where? /wɛər/
- Why? /waɪ/
- Which? /wɪtʃ/
- Whose? /huːz/
- How? /haʊ/
¿Qué significan y ejemplos?
When? ¿Cuándo?
-When did you go to Los Angeles? ¿Cuándo fue a Los Ángeles?
What? ¿Qué, cuál, cuáles?
Dependiendo la pregunta esta palabra puede significar “¿qué?” o “¿cuál?”:
-What are their names? ¿Cuáles son sus nombres?
-What did she say? ¿Qué dijo ella?
Who? ¿Quién, quiénes?
Regularmente utilizamos esta palabra sin ningún auxiliar:
